Diagnostic Model For Educational Contexts and Its Integration Into The Curriculum

Education plays a crucial role in society, continuously striving to respond to complex and evolving challenges. This study presents a crit- ical diagnostic model of the educational context, integrated into the cur- riculum and designed for teachers, students, families, and the wider com- munity. The model addresses five key dimensions: economic, family, ed- ucational, health, and political. Grounded in a critical pedagogical per- spective, it has been validated by experts from Spain, Ecuador, Colombia, and Brazil. Its main strength lies in enabling educators to identify the needs and weaknesses of an educational context in order to design inter- vention plans in collaboration with all educational stakeholders. Ulti- mately, the model serves as a tool to foster the development of more dem- ocratic, intercultural, and inclusive educational environments.
