Conceptual Normalization As A Foundation For Clear and Correct Organisational Models
Organisational models frequently suffer from semantic ambiguities and structural redundancies that hinder consistency, maintainability, and correct system interpretation. This paper proposes that these issues stem from conceptual redundancy and can be addressed through a principled application of Conceptual Normalisation (CN) - a theory based on the ontological premise that the real world contains no redundancy. By introducing four Conceptual Normal Forms (CNFs), this method provides a systematic approach to model refinement. The paper illustrates how CN can serve as a foundational methodology for developing correct, comprehensible, and transformation-ready organisational models.
