Innovative Culture In The 21st Century: A Bibliometric Study of Wos
Innovative culture is key to organizational competitiveness. Its bibliometric analysis allows the identification of trends, influential actors and theoretical gaps, guiding academic development and future research. This research aims to carry out a bibliometric analysis of the works published on innovative culture in the period between 2000 and 2022. The Web of Science (WoS) data registry along with a final sample of 1,463 articles were used. The analysis was carried out using the VOSviewer tool, assuming networks of co-authorship, co-citations, keywords and institutional affiliations. The Chinese Academy of Sciences had the most citations, and the most cited country was China. The most cited of the references was the 2010 paper by Yang, Xiaoming et al., which was cited 598 times. The author with the highest number of citations is Wang (2020) and the author most cited by co-authorship was Fagerberg (2018) with 111 citations. A high number of quotes from theoretical references of great international influence such as Hofstede, Hair, Schumpeter and Porter were found. A growing growth in academic production and interest in the subject was found in recent years. Digital transformation, organizational resilience, strategic alignment, and the integration of emerging technologies represent little explored areas that are emerging as fundamental lines for future research in dynamic and complex organizational contexts.
