Modelling Auction House Processes With Multilevel Hypergraphs

Modelling complex systems often requires complex representation models. However, in some cases, within certain application contexts, we can use simple models to represent complex systems, without losing the meaning of context elements. The evolution graphs have over time has given them greater representation power and a strong ability to accommodate highly structured data elements, with complex relationships, capable of hosting definitions of different levels of abstraction and hierarchical associations. In this paper, we present a new variant of graphs, multilevel hypergraphs, and reveal their properties, representation capacity and application for solving a real-world problem, highlighting their role in data manipulation operation management.
